Short History:

I grew up in Montauk, NY, a small seaside community situated at the very end of Long Island. Surrounded by water, I spent my days surfing, fishing, and diving which eventually acted as my gateway into the world of meteorology. Surf forecasting in particular quickly became a facet of my everyday life and introduced me to the complicated nature of the ocean and atmosphere. As a result, I decided to attend the University of Miami and recently graduated with a B.S in meteorology. My main interests included synoptic meteorology, weather forecasting, and more broadly the ocean-atmosphere system. Aside from meteorology, studying alongside marine science peers coaxed me into becoming an AOW diver, thus learning more about marine ecosystems and connections to meteorology. As a new member of the RUCOOL Off-Shore Wind Team, I hope to learn more about the ocean-atmosphere coupled system and the sustainable future it may bring to my home region via renewable energy.
