Our group is focused on understanding marine ecosystems, which are highly dynamic and can change on the time scale of days. This reflects the strong coupling between the biology to the physics and chemistry both which can change on the time scales of hours.

The Mid-Atlantic Bight is an extremely productive system bordering the most urbanized and densely populated region of the United States. Our group is focused on understanding the historical, current, and future interactions between Eastern seaboard societies and the ocean.
