Short Bio:
I am originally from Rochester, NY. I got an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Bucknell University followed by a Masters in Computer Science at Columbia University. I then spent 10 years working in robotics and embedded software development where I worked on a variety of projects from house key cutting robots to methane sensor arrays to lab equipment. Although I enjoyed my work I am back in school to follow my passion to learn about marine sciences and use the skills I have acquired to contribute to the field.
