RUCOOL Students Welcome Distinguished Rutgers Alumni

On April 30, RUCOOL students in our Topics of Marine Science class were treated with a visit and inspirational talks by alumni Dr. Craig McLean (’79) and Chloe Baskin-Arboleda (’17) of NOAA. Each spoke about their careers and gave advice to the students on planning their own career paths.
Dr. McLean, Acting Chief Scientist of NOAA, then joined the students for numerous one on one discussions and a group lunch in the COOLroom.
RUCOOL would like to thank both Craig and Chloe for taking time out of their busy schedules and inspirationally impacting the ocean scientists of the future.
