Ocean Observatories

Each semester the members of the Center for Ocean Observing Leadership hold a 1.5 credit course in which undergraduate students are provided with the data and resources to conduct their own team based research projects.  The teams are typically made up of an upperclassman mentor who steers a team of students ranging from freshman to seniors of all skill levels as they conduct research on the topic of their choosing.  The final consists of a group presentation at the end of semester research symposium held in the loby of the Marine Sciences Building on Cook Campus.
