Interest/Hobbies:
I am currently pursuing a physical oceanography degree. I joined the COOL group last year when I dropped in on one of the Atlantic Crossing seminar meetings. I was introduced to CODAR and glider basics over the summer, and now I am comparing CODAR
surface current maps and RU27's deployment map to determine RU27's path.
Additionally, I am using OBIS to uncover species that could affect RU25 and RU27's upcoming flights. When I'm not being a nerd in school, I love singing, dancing and anything
artsy. I hike and swim whenever I can, and of course, I LOVE going to the beach. In the future, I would like to research ocean currents and their impact on climate change, and communicate to people about climate change.
